i had high hopes for this hostel, but alas, the bed was a true disaster, springs digging in like a torture device. and to top it off, my request for a nice room was utterly ignored. i could’ve written a glowing review, but i just couldn’t.

The elevator is old and barely works!!! Noise from other guests can interrupt sleep!!! Wi-Fi access is restricted to certain hours, which is very inconvenient!!! Thin doors offer no sound insulation,!!!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, even offering to change my room after a complaint.

Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi was unreliable, only working on my phone and not on my computer, which was frustrating.

The bathroom was nice, but the room felt like a prison with no window.

Enjoyed the friendly receptionist's help for drying swimwear.

Solo traveler looking for a bit of comfort

I had a perfect stay, the room was SMALL but had everything I needed, TV, air-con, and a clean bathroom. After running around all day, it was nice to unwind and write postcards while enjoyin' some TV.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but for what you get, it’s still okay.

I loved the unbeatable location, just a short walk from major attractions like Paseo de Gracia and Plaza Catalunya. The staff was genuinely welcoming and super helpful, making my stay very comfortable. The room was clean and spacious, and having a flat-screen TV and air conditioning made it even better. However, the elevator is quite old and can be noisy at times, so be prepared for that.

The hostel is conveniently located just seven long blocks from Plaza Catalunya, making it easy to access metro lines, airport shuttles, and local tourist sites. The area is filled with shopping spots and bars, ensuring that dining out was never a hassle. I also enjoyed the lovely city view from the balcony, which added a nice touch to my stay.

The old building and facilities were quite noticeable, particularly the elevator that accommodates only two people, making it difficult to navigate with luggage.
